Custom NRE & Mold Policy

NRE Project Definition

NRE projects refer to customized development, mold opening, scheme design, drawing development, PCB prototyping, firmware development and other one-time engineering-fee transactions.

Demand Confirmation

All technical parameters, BOM, deliverables, acceptance criteria, testing methods and acceptance nodes must be confirmed in writing within tickets and serve as the sole acceptance basis. Verbal agreements and off-platform communications are invalid. Demand changes must be confirmed in writing within tickets with negotiated revised fees and lead times.

Delivery and Acceptance

Delivery shall be performed per agreed nodes. The acceptance period follows ticket agreements. If the buyer fails to submit written objections and test reports using agreed testing methods within the acceptance period, goods shall be deemed accepted. After acceptance, the buyer may not file claims on similar quality grounds again.

NRE Payments

NRE fees are engineering development fees. Once the project commences and labor and materials are invested, NRE fees shall not be refunded unless the seller commits severe quality breach. Intellectual property ownership of NRE deliverables must be agreed in writing within tickets; if no agreement exists, ownership belongs to the developer.

Sample Orders

Samples are for reference only. Mass production quality standards shall be governed by written ticket agreements. Samples shall not equal mass production standards unless explicitly agreed in tickets.

Mold Development

Once mold opening or engineering development commences, the buyer may not unilaterally cancel the order or request a refund unless the seller commits a severe quality breach.

Mold ownership must be agreed in writing within tickets. If no agreement exists, ownership belongs to the developer. Mold storage, maintenance and disposal responsibilities follow ticket agreements.
